
The Hillary Clinton presidential campaign announced the endorsements of 40 Democratic Party county chairs. Clinton is shown here campaigning in Kokomo Wednesday night. These party activists from every corner of the Hoosier State will mobilize voters for Hillary on May 6. In addition, Hillary received the endorsement of Mayor Robert Hurst of Princeton. With this endorsement, Hillary has now secured the support of 34 out of 68 of the Hoosier State’s Democratic mayors. “I am gratified by the support I’ve received from Democratic Party county chairs and mayors throughout the Hoosier State,” Hillary said. “Together, over the next week, we will roll up our sleeves, make our case to the people of Indiana and deliver our message of fixing the economy, creating jobs, and restoring the middle class.” The endorsing chairs include MIchael O’Connor of Marion County, Butch Morgan of St. Joseph County, Mike Jones of Switzerland County who is also 9th CD chair. There were another 9 chairs from the 9th CD that endorsed Clinton while 9th CD U.S. Rep. Baron Hill endorsed Barack Obama on Wednesday. (HPI Photo by Ryan Nees)
